Welcome to Scottsdale.

Scottsdale and the surrounding cities have so much to offer. We are blessed in Arizona with year-round sunshine, making this state the perfect place for people who love to be outside. Whether it’s hiking Pinnacle Peak or Camelback, or utilizing any of the pedestrian pathways throughout the city, there are plenty of places to get out and actively enjoy the sunshine.

Maybe you prefer to enjoy the outdoors in a more relaxed way. (I do!) There are countless restaurants with outdoor seating, many with misters, making sitting outside enjoyable into the hotter summer months. We are surrounded by gorgeous resorts, many of which offer day passes to utilize their luxurious pools and spas.

Do you have kiddos? There are so many wonderful parks and playgrounds, as well as splash pads, to take the kids to year-round. One of our favorites is the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park, where there is a carousel and train to ride. The Scottsdale Public Library system is also a wonderful place to spend an afternoon with kids, especially on a hotter day.

All of this is to say- when you buy a home, you are joining a community. Ask questions, and choose wisely. Discern what is important to you in your lifestyle, outside of bedrooms and bathrooms. I am here to help answer the questions so you can choose wisely.

Hi, I’m Joel. My family moved to Scottsdale in November of 2017 from Washington State. We have roots in the NW, and now we are blooming in Arizona. I love the Scottsdale community we have settled into to raise our son, Indy, who is almost 5 years old.  My two older children still call the NW home but like to visit often.I love making sure my clients are 100% guided, supported, represented and advocated for throughout the process of their purchase or sale. Being a transplant from the NW, I have a passion for clients relocating to the area, as well as those looking for vacation homes. I know firsthand what a game-changer the sunshine, palm trees, and swimming pools are for an out of area buyer. I also know firsthand how many other factors play into making a move to another state. It’s a big endeavor if only moving to a new neighborhood one mile away let alone 1300 miles away.  Now that I’m living full time in Scottsdale,I’m ready to dive into this robust real estate market helping local and out of state buyers and sellers. I originally got my real estate license in 1999 in Washington State, where I worked as a Realtor. In 2005, I started in Residential Land Development working on and developing numerous projects and creating beautiful home-sites for local and national builders.  Then in 2010 I opened my own real estate brokerage and ran a successful brokerage in Washington and Oregon before transitioning to Arizona.  I continue to hold a managing broker license in Washington and Oregon and have strong roots in all three states.   In these three roles, I have been a part of hundreds of transactions, and I have learned from every single one. I am well equipped to represent you in what is likely the most important purchase or sale you will make. A cornerstone to how I conduct my business is being readily available to my clients and keeping in active communication throughout the process.  I strive to hold myself to the same professional standard that I would expect if roles were reversed.  I truly love and enjoy what I do. So, call me today! In the words of Mark Twain ‘find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life’.
